Characteristic
:
It has more excellent activity to Serratia, Indole positive Proteus,
Enterobacter, Citrobacter than the existing ecphalosporins.
Indications
:
Pneumonia, lung abscess, pyothorax, bronchitis, bronchiectasis to infections,
secondary infections of chronic respiratory disease, pyelonephritis, cystitis,
urethritis, etc.
Dosage and Administration :
1~2g(potency) every
12 hours I.M. or I.V.

Amoxicillin

Characteristic : It is
effective to patients with meningitis because it has high penetration rate to
cerebrospinal fluid(CSF). It doesn't affect to self-defense mechanism not inhibiting
oxygen metabolism.
Indications : Bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis media,
pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, typhoid fever, peritonitis, tonsillitis,
etc.
Dosage and Administration :
500mg(potency) every 8 hours I.V.

Bactericidal Aminoglycoside

Composition : Each vial contains
Amikacin
sulfate-------------- 250mg or 500mg(potency)
Characteristic : It has
excellent bactericidal effect to Aminoglycoside resistant bacteria. Its potency
is not depreciated in solution, since it is very stable in solution.
Indications
: Septicemia, bronchiectasis in the infection stage, pneumonia, pulmonary
suppuration, bone and joint infections, CNS infections, severe infections of skin
and soft tissue, peritonitis, burns and postoperative infections, etc.
Dosage
and Administration : For adults, 15mg(potecny)/kg daily 2~3 divided doses
I.M. or dilute solution of 50mg(potency)/kg daily I.V. infusion for 0.5~1 hr.

Female
